The great thing about awards is that they are always there as reminders of achievements when ugly doubts start bullying self-confidence. Here are some of mine that are on my walls to remind me I really can walk the walk, not just talk the talk.
Two books for Harlequin–The Bachelor and the Baby Wish and Mother Nature’s Hidden Agenda–that sold over 100,000 copies each and earned me a place on the Romance Writers of America Honor Roll didn’t get any awards.
My Morgan mare Time for Joy was on the cover of Mother Nature’s Hidden Agenda.
Earth Angel, a single title paranormal romantic suspense I wrote for Jove, took second place in the “Kiss of Death” chapter’s contest but I’ve misplaced the certificate.
Joy to the World, a novella I wrote for Jove, was a finalist in RWA’s first RITA Novella category, which made me very proud.
